NFT Collections

In late 2020, we began collecting works of art whose provenance is tracked using blockchain technologies, which became known popularly as NFT’s. We purchased some works on an early version of Foundation, including a token which we exchanged for a physical piece of a painting from Addie Wagenknecht. Sadly the Foundation platform has erased all records of these early sales. We continued to follow the evolution of the Foundation platform and purchased work from Sterling Crispin using the ETH blockchain in late February 2021. We began building our very significant collection of works on the Tezos blockchain a week later in early March 2021 via Hic-Et-Nunc, a platform that started in Brazil. Since then we have continued to collect NFTs mostly on the Ethereum and Tezos blockchains with special emphasis on the following platforms:

Ethereum

Tezos

Additional NFTs exist on platforms that are self contained, some are even nontransferable.

NFT Wallets

We have four primary wallets holding our collections from the ETH and Tezos blockchains. While we are working on better ways to organize and view the collections, these links will take you to The wallets on OpenSea for ETH, and Objkt for Tezos.

As an example of what organizing can start to look like, we have built some galleries on Deca but as you can see, not all artworks function on this platform, and this is the major issue with a collection like ours that contains works in many different mediums. This page on Deca showcases 7 galleries of the works we have collected on Feral File, as well as an arbitrary aesthetically themed gallery: https://deca.art/digitalcoleman/galleries
